4. Brown County

Time and time again, Brown County State Park ranks high amongst camping enthusiasts in Indiana. Not only does the park offer some of Indiana’s hilliest terrain, but it is also located not far from the quaint town of Nashville, IN, which can become a favorite place to shop, eat, enjoy art galleries, and more.

5. Indiana Dunes

Wishing for a beach location? Indiana may not touch an ocean, but at the Indiana Dunes, you certainly can feel like you’re there. Enjoy mountains of sand right next to the southern shore of Lake Michigan. You can even bring your ATV for sand dune recreation, and then relax the afternoon away lounging on the beach.
