We’ve had a few warm days here in Indiana, which makes every outdoor-loving man and woman itch to get outside. While we may still be waiting for consistently warm temperatures and no threat of snow, you can start celebrating the arrival of spring by planning your first spring getaway with a little help from Greenwood RV Rentals & Sales.

Camping Tips

1. Pick your destination.

As you start making vacation plans, the first item on your agenda should be to select your destination. If you plan to stay in Indiana, we recommend that you check out some of our favorite state parks, including Clifty Falls, Turkey Run, and Brown County. However, you may also decide to head south toward the beach or to spend some time in the Smokey Mountains.

2. Select a date.

After you know where you want to go, you must decide when you’re going to make the trip. Be sure to check first when your destination has available campsites. You don’t want to make plans only to find out no sites are open during that timeframe. From there, confer with your calendar, and select a date range that’s best for you.

3. Choose your camper.

If you have your campsite all lined up, then you’re ready to rent an RV. Check out our selection of motorhomes, popup campers, and travel trailers, and determine which one fits your group and has the amenities you need for a great getaway. If you need help deciding, you can contact our staff anytime at (317) 413-0817.

Greenwood RV Rentals & Sales is located just south of Indianapolis, making it convenient for anyone in the Central Indiana area to pick up your RV rental on your way out of town. Plus, if you would rather stop by and see a motorhome in person, we’d be glad to take you on a tour and help you find the right camper for your spring getaway.
