IndianapolisIndianapolis Attractions is full of fun and exciting things to do. Visitors and locals are not without events and activities to enjoy around town. Here are just a few of the local attractions our team at Greenwood RV Rentals & Sales recommends.

1. Live Music at The Jazz Kitchen

Indianapolis has a wide range of musical guests and venues, but one of our favorites is The Jazz Kitchen. This local restaurant and live music venue features talented artists in an intimate setting. You’ll want to call ahead for reservations, especially on the weekends. Note also that this venue is for ages 21 and older.

2. Children’s Museum of Indianapolis

The top family attraction in the area is hands down the Children’s Museum. People of all ages love a trip to the museum that features regular and rotating exhibits. You can easily spend an entire day at the museum, checking out the interactive displays, taking a ride on the carousel, and grabbing a bite to eat at the food court. You’ll also want to check out the museum store that’s filled with fun and educational toys and souvenirs.

3. Gondolier Rides on the Canal

Visitors and locals like to spend time on the canal, located right in the heart of the downtown area. At least once, you have to take a gondolier ride on the canal, soaking in the sites and feeling like you’re in Venice.

4. Sporting Events Year Round

Indianapolis is one of those cities that always has a sport in season. From Indians baseball to Colts football and races at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, be sure to check out a sporting event. Even if you aren’t a huge sport’s fan, you can enjoy the atmosphere, get some nachos, and soak in the local culture.

If you’re looking for accommodations in the Indy area, consider renting an RV from Greenwood RV. We have affordable pop-up campers, travel trailers, and even motorhome rentals.
