When camping in the Indianapolis area, you are likely to do some of your own cooking in your RV kitchen or at the outdoor grill. However, if you’re ready for a night off or if weather doesn’t lend itself to cooking outdoors, our team at Greenwood RV Rentals & Sales suggests that you try these fantastic Indy restaurants.

Indianapolis attractions

1. St. Elmo’s Steakhouse

The first Indianapolis restaurant that many Hoosiers will tell you that you have to try at least once is St. Elmo’s Steakhouse. This restaurant has been on the downtown Indy scene since 1902. St. Elmo’s is known for its signature shrimp cocktail, delectable steaks, and great drinks. You’ll definitely want to make a reservation and plan for a special night out, but a visit to St. Elmo’s is well worth it.

2. Bluebeard

Recently named one of the top 25 restaurants by Indianapolis Monthly, Bluebeard’s “quirky gourmet” menu has made quite a name for itself since opening its doors in 2012. Its rotating menu changes daily and is made from only fresh, quality ingredients—many of which are locally sourced.

3. Bazbeaux

If all you want is a good pizza, then check out Bazbeaux. This restaurant has been an Indianapolis original since 1986. They have three pizzeria locations in the Indianapolis area, but you’ll want to go before the dinner rush since they’re always hopping. We recommend that you skip the classic pepperoni pizza, because while quite tasty, you will want to try Bazbeaux’s originals like the Pizza Alla Quattro Formaggio or The Luke.

For a night out of the RV rental, you can’t go wrong with any of these Indianapolis restaurants. In fact, my stomach is already growling just thinking about them… To get more info on Indianapolis attractions or to book your motorhome rental, contact Greenwood RV at (317) 413-0817, or make a reservation online.
